ARAM C. BLOOM
Associate
Aram C. Bloom concentrates his practice in employment law, business litigation and dispute resolution. He has experience in general civil and commercial litigation matters including complex intellectual property litigation and representation of insurance companies in class action, coverage and property damage disputes. He has represented a variety of corporate and individual clients in jury and non-jury civil litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout the United States. His experience also includes litigation of federal civil rights claims, and white-collar criminal investigations, as well as SEC and state regulatory examinations.
Prior to entering private practice Bloom was Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Ronald R. Lagueux of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island and Judicial Intern to the Honorable Bruce M. Selya of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Notable Client Work
Bloom was involved in the settlement of a major class action matter against multiple financial services defendants relating to vanishing premium claims tied to long-term annuity policies. Bloom also played an integral role in the litigation of a large scale securities litigation arising from alleged stock value inflation prior to hostile takeover. Most recently Bloom has coauthored an ABA article regarding the set-up of bad faith causes of action arising from alleged bad faith handling of insurance claims.
