Daniel A. Kaskel is Chair of the firm’s Real Estate, Corporate, Land Use & Financial Services Group and an equity partner representing institutional investors, real estate sponsors, and family offices in complex, high-value real estate transactions nationwide.
His practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing across multifamily, mixed-use and master-planned communities, office and retail portfolios, senior living facilities, manufactured housing communities, and substantial residential developments. He structures and negotiates joint ventures between institutional capital partners and operating sponsors and advises on the corporate frameworks underlying these investments.
Mr. Kaskel represents borrowers in sophisticated financing transactions, including construction, acquisition and development, bridge, and permanent loans, as well as mezzanine financing, frequently in transactions exceeding $100 million. He also advises on sale-leaseback transactions and broader capital structuring strategies.
He serves as outside general counsel to numerous family offices and real estate platforms, providing strategic guidance on investments, governance, and operations. His practice also includes significant residential closings and financings, and large-scale condominium and planned development structuring.
Mr. Kaskel is recognized in Super Lawyers for more than 15 years and was named a finalist for Best Real Estate Lawyer in Florida by ALM in 2026.

Mr. Kaskel is actively involved in numerous civic, professional, and charitable organizations. He has served two terms as Chair of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee and is a former Director of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. He has also served on a Florida Bar task force and has authored legal articles published in respected outlets, including the New York Law Journal and Bloomberg.
He is the Immediate Past President of the Boca Raton Synagogue, a Delegate to the 39th World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem, has served on boards of non-profit organizations and is currently a Board Member of the American Zionist Movement.
Mr. Kaskel is a proud father and grandfather of four grandchildren.
