Board Certified Condominium and Planned Development Law

Edward S. Hammel is an Equity Partner at Sachs Sax Caplan whose practice focuses primarily on Construction and Community Association law.  Mr. Hammel is Board Certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law, concentrating in the areas of construction law, community association law, complex commercial construction contracts, construction lien law, and commercial and residential real estate litigation. Mr. Hammel’s practice includes all aspects of contract drafting and negotiation, particularly with respect to complex commercial transactions, communications agreements, and construction and contractor agreements (including the drafting, review and revision of American Institute of Architects (“AIA”) contract document). Additionally, Mr. Hammel focuses a portion of his practice in the areas of land use and commercial and residential development. Mr. Hammel represents a variety of homeowner and condominium associations, as well as private clubs, commercial and residential real estate developers, owners, and professional management organizations.
