Lindsay E. Raphael, a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated attorney joined our practice in 2018, focuses her practice on community association matters, including, condominium and homeowners association matters, providing counsel on such issues as collections, rules enforcement, contractual review, association documents, elections, budgets, turnover, fair housing issues, compliance issues, homeowners association operations and condominium operations as well as transaction counsel to developers, buyers, sellers and lenders of residential and commercial real estate and general corporate and contract law.
Ms. Raphael brings over 17 years of legal experience. She started her career as a judicial intern with Judge W. Herbert Moriarity in the 17th Judicial Circuit in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and as a research assistant at Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
Raphael was named a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyer in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. She is also the winner of the South Florida Business and Wealth Up and Comer award for the law category in Jun 2015. She has been a regular contributor toCondo Management Magazine and was formerly a weekly contributor to the Sun-Sentinel condo blog.
Raphael sat on the Steering Committee of The Ghost Light Society for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts from 2010-2015 and was the Co-Chair of the organization, 2014-2015. Raphael is also the co-founder of Island Paws Rescue, Inc. which she founded in 2012, that is dedicated to rescuing and promoting the welfare of dogs and cats. She has been actively involved with Habitat for Humanity Women Build, the American Cancer Society Jail & Bail fundraiser, Kids@Home and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation honored Raphael for her outstanding contributions to the community and her fundraising commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in June 2006. She is past coordinator of the South Florida AIDS Walk for Life.
Raphael holds a law degree with honors from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, where she was an associate editor of the Nova Southeastern University Law Review and is a published author in Nova Law Review. Raphael also was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and graduated from Leadership Broward Class XXXII. She holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in business administration from Lynn University.
