Bob Boyd is the Chair of the firm’s Governmental & Lobbying Practice Group and has more than 25 years of legislative and executive branch experience in lobbying the Florida Legislature and the state’s agencies. The Governmental & Lobbying Practice Group at Sachs Sax Caplan offers local and statewide lobbying and governmental advice to assist clients in the public and private sector with the challenges they face at a time of growing local and state governmental involvement in every aspect of American life. The firm has extensive experience in the legislative, executive and regulatory arenas, including development and implementation of an advocacy agenda, building strategic partnerships, and defeating or passing legislation at the local and state level. Our public policy professionals have also developed the necessary contacts to strengthen our client’s positions and influence governmental decision-making.
Sachs Sax Caplan has the capabilities to handle the most complex public policy problems, from working with a municipality on zoning issues to lobbying Florida’s Governor and staff. Our core strengths are in appropriations, education, health care including mental health, aviation, cemetery regulation and land use including local permitting and regulatory issues.
